They didn't need to be broken in, they were comfy and since they were for work, they looked great with a casual skirt and also with Capri's. Good value for the money and also animal friendly. They are very lightweight so they packed well. And no one believed they were Crocs because they were so cute! I wore them to an outdoor wedding last weekend and they got dusty and dirty. I put them in the sink when I got home, washed them with soap and water, let them air dry and they looked good as new. I bought the black with pearl foot bed. When it gets really hot later in the summer, I thought the pearl foot bed was a better choice because I would be able to put foot powder on and it wouldn't show as much with the lighter interior. I wear an 8 to 8 1/2, for this shoe the 8 is just a teeny bit too short and the 9 is too wide. It seems to me there is really a lot of difference between the 8 and the 9, with respect to the length and the snugness/looseness of the strap. These shoes are fairly comfortable for being too small ;-( - I bet they would fit great in an 8 1/2! Very fast shipping on this product. The thick sole cushions your step and the back strap is secure without rubbing. <br/><br/>The toe box could be a smidge wider but I have wide feet so I think normal width feet would fit well.
