This is a very comfortable shoe and quite attractive. Leather is very soft and supple and these shoes are very light. Sole has plenty of traction.
I almost docked them one-star because they are not water resistant. The top of the shoe has multiple holes to give the shoe ventilation, so if you are expecting these boots to keep your feet dry in wet weather, look elsewhere. These are shoes for light wear, not serious hiking.
This boot is great for someone looking to have a litte extra hight in the winter, but not the full on boot experience. They are comfortable, light weight, and stylish as well. I bought these, because I was looking for a boot that I did not have to take off when I arrived at work and also were not as heavy as all day wearable Doc Martens. This shoes is also something that can be worn in the spring, summer, and fall. If you are looking for a boot to keep your feet warm and dry this is not the shoe to buy. However, if your are looking for style, comfort, and light weight I would suggest these! Im actually considering buying the other 2 colors!
